When a job has to be done, it has to be done.......here comes firewood and woodchips.

That is on the agenda to market out.........I believe in the woodchip idea for garden beds. Holds the moisture and keeps the hot sun off the soil so it lessens the drying out.  if it is piled deep enough slows the weeds from crawling through.  It will also break down and loosen up your soil for air circulation and being a natural product it enhances the soil for growing.

I think I used the cloth idea maybe once in all my days of growing.  It is horrible, tears, bunches up and the weeds come through any breakage areas......you might think it is less work but in the long run it is a big pain.........
